  • LogicXtender

LogicXtender is an environment (Application Platform) for agile development of Web-based Applications under vague specifications and requirements. A specific Web application is represented, in LogicXtender Platform, as a set of meta-data stored in the Database and describing application domain, and this meta-data is being interpreted by LogicXtender Engine at runtime for generating relevant responses to users. As a result, LogicXtender allows dynamic (runtime) alterations to develop application without the necessity to stop the server and recompile code, and inherently follows development methodology of rapid prototyping, when a final application is gradually evolved from a series of prototypes. This helps to promptly rectify and clarify development specifications, as well as adequateness of initial requirements to the real world.
  • MRCB

In year 2004, MRCB conducted Benchmarking Project for selecting a development technology suitable for ongoing HRMIS Project, and LogicXtender was used as one of tested Application Platforms. The task was to estimate time frames and required resources for implementing two main modules of HRMIS: Personnel Management and Establishment Module. The overall time it took to develop these modules using LogicXtender, along with requirements study, was 6 week and 4 Programmers, against 9 months and 20 Programmers in case of using ASP Technology. Besides, the solution on LogicXtender Platform was lighter, in terms of required hardware resources, and exposed two times faster reactivity for transactions processing.
  • JAS Mobile Sdn Bhd

The project is about using LogicXtender as an Application Platform integrating various services in Tracking Solution in GSM Network. The front-end application run by LogicXtender Engine was integrated, through SOAP protocol, with Gateway to Mobile Location Center and with GIS server for generating maps. Besides, the developed application also supports SMS positioning requests through SMS Gateway. A user of Tracking Solution sends request to determine position of a registered device (hand phone, for instance), and LogicXtender Application dispatches the request to Gateway to Mobile Location Center, waits for the answer with coordinates of the device, and then sends request to GIS Server to generate location map, and finally, displays the map to user with respective information about location of the device. So, LogicXtender is acting as a requests dispatcher in geographically scattered system, and additionally performs logic for maintaining automatic scheduled location detections. The solution is targeted for various sectors that may need location-based services, such as fleet operators, courier services (for monitoring couriers), friend finders, etc.
  • Royal Malaysian Police

TMS categorized as Automated Maintenance Management System, and is intended for automation of maintenance procedures in PDRM, strictly following established procedures and set of mandatory documentation for every maintained vehicle. The overall architecture of the system implies two layers of operations: IPPD/IPK Workshops and Bukit Aman (Consolidation Server) – all layers are implemented using LogicXtender Platform. Consolidation Server regularly captures operational information entered on IPPD/IPK levels, and prepares consolidation reports, as well as acts for information search purposes (retrieving actual operational information at any point of time).
  • HiWay Card Services Sdn Bhd / Kontena Nasional Bhd

The project is about implementing front-end interface for truck drivers, and is based on NavMan Mobile Terminal integrated with installed AVL Device. The developed application is a part of overall tracking solution for Kontena Nasional Bhd. The scope of project includes embedded programming for proprietary hardware platform (Mitsubishi Processor) and serial communication with external device (AVL). Communication with the Central System is done through SMS messages sent to AVL device.
  • Koperasi UKHWAH, KOPUTRI, PUSAMAJU, PSB & KOWAMAS

A Cooperative Membership and Loan Management System (CMLMS) is developed for Ukhwah to manage its core cooperative activities, and includes functions for managing cooperative members (maintaining full details) and loans the members may apply for, including automated managing payments and maintaining respective General Ledger records. The application is integrated with the necessary authorities for monitoring regular payments against given loans; the integration is done through text files downloadable from Angkasa. The system supports unlimited number of Banks that provide loans to Ukhwah members, with necessary profiling (settings Bank Policies and rates). Some Banks may require sending regular updates of conducted transactions through text files. Access for all groups of users is done via Web Browsers, either from LAN environment, or through Internet from any location – subject to selected hosting options.
